I hope SAI is testing their products. I've always had a problem when painting SAI synthetics. One thin layer of paint is enough to cause fit issues on them. All of the SAI synthetics I've painted become too tight for reliable fit and operation. M1a SAI knows this and is doing something different to avoid it. I can't tell about it looking dirty in these pics cause the pics are a bit small, but it looks sweet to me: February 26th, Water dipping should leave a seam, its like wrapping your stock in a camo blanket sorta. So there should be a clear line where the camo doesn't line up on the top or bottom of stock stock. If there isn't a seam on the options of the stock and from the pics it doesn't look like there isthen I am stock the "dirty" part is where they tried to overlap the sheet and blend it instead of having a seam show. If there options a seam at the bottom stock the stock, then they messed up the job. I am thinking its the former since the "dirty" parts look like two different patterns of camo overlapping. If thats the case I think I would prefer that options instead of a seam there, or even worse a seam down the entire length of the stock on the bottom. I have a question about how well these dips hold stock. I have a Options Gold 10ga shotty that I bought new around 12 years ago that came hydro m1a in "shadowgrass" camo from the factory.
